We were able to observe this big male Jaguar hunt for a long time from our small boat early one morning in Brazil, as he walked along the beach and swam through the Hyacinth, occasionally disappearing with a large splash. Finally, he caught this small Yacare Caiman and scurried up the hillside, for what by now must be lunch. Canon EOS 1D IV, EF 100-400 II @ 400, f/5.6, 1/800, ISO 2000.
