Hi everyone,

I've recently returned home to British Columbia after spending five weeks photographing and guiding throughout Ecuador.

While shooting from a canoe on a lagoon, deep in the Amazon Rainforest, some workshop participants and I were treated to some close encounters with Squirrel Monkeys. This young one was rather inquisitive and approached quite close to get a better view of us. It was soon scolded by an older member of the troop and returned back to the canopy to forage for fruit.

Thanks for looking. Best of luck!

They do make wonderful subjects with their expressive faces, don't they! Nicely done Jess.

Ah, curious youngsters often make the best subjects! Cute little one. I like that you included the habitat and some space. The soft, even light makes it work.
