female GREEN SEA TURTLE

Captured this morning as she was heading back to the ocean after laying eggs and covering them with sand.

1DM4, 28-135 IS Lens, HH, f10, 1/640, early AM natural golden light. her right hind foot is mostly missing.

From what you say, it must make it more difficult for her to dig out the nest hole and then recover her eggs with a missing hind foot Jim, and I wonder how she gets on with her swimming too. I can only think a front limb would be worse than a hind. Anyway, nice to see she accomplished her mission!
