Hi All,

While in Nome, AK we had many opportunities to photo Arctic Terns in flight. In this particular area the birds were very agressive and would dive bomb us despite the lack of nesting activity. I was actually pecked on the head once!

Anyway, for a change of pace, I decided to get down on my back and shoot up at Wes and the terns.

Eos 1v, 28-135mm at about 100mm. I think these were taken at f/11, shutter unrecorded.

Thanks for looking and for your thoughts and comments.

Good light to you all!

BZ

Neat image Brian!!! The chances of getting a good flying Term seemed high!!!!! :)

Where they dive bombing on their own or was there any food involved?

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

Cool shot Brian. Maybe take your football or bike helmet next time for protection.
