Here is a pick of Dennis seeking new heights in his quest for sheep images. Jasper is one of my favorite places on earth; around every bend lay incredible scenery and natural wonder.

1D, 70-200IS
exposure 1/800 @ f/8, ISO 200

Best and stay warm

Very cool shot Chas. What beautiful scenery and nice wildlife. Don't you just hate it when tourists 'butt' into your pictures!??

Great field shot of Dennis.

Chas,

Very nice, what an incredible location -- Dennis should add this image to his bio.

This is awfully high up!! Where was this taken?

The gondola is closed, so that means you had to walk up from the valley floor!

Nice image, though when I first looked at it, I didn't see the sheep right away.

Hey Paul, it is all smoke and mirrors-lol, but mostly it is just a great perspective. He is atop the rock out cropping near the train tracks right off the road just outside of town.

Holy cow! I thought you were a couple thousand feet up, when in fact you were a few dozen feet up! Amazing how perspective doesn't always work the way your brain thinks it does.

Thanks,

I like teh small size of DO in the image and how the immense mountains really dwarf him.

Great job of recording Dennis' ability to get in close to the animals! He and the sheep really pop out of that background.
