I am in the middle of planning a three week trip to the South Island in February, so I love this image!!! Both versions look great, I am drawn to the BW one though as I find the strong graphic very appealing. The colors in this one are great and compliment each other well. Either way, a cracker.

Definitely colour for me. This is such an amazingly bold and striking image.

Thanks very much for the feedback here. My personal preference is for the BW but it seems that the colour should be in my portfolio too.

Awesome. Threatening clouds, tack sharp subject, detail in the shadows, and motion of the water.. Complete image. I like the color better although the b&w is strong also.

Superb image, the color version is an excellent choice. Timing and composition are excellent, no nits for me.
Congratulations for a well deserved IOW
