Heavily backlit pelican shot from 10,000 Islands NWR. I did not have enough flash so I adjusted the exposure in raw conversion. got a nice grainy image. boosted saturation and then added lucis art wyath; watercolor; flaming pear; autofx tints and edges and textures.

The title is from the these song to the film, Midnight Cowboy, and describes our home state of Florida . . .

-----------
Everybody's talkin' at me
I don't hear a word they're sayin'
Only the echoes of my mind.

People stop an' starin'
I can't even see their faces
only the shadows of their eyes.

Goin' where the sun keeps a-shinin'
through the pouring rain
goin' where the weather suits my clothes.

Bankin' off the north-east wind
sailin' on a summer breeze
skippin' over the ocean like a stone

Nice colors on the bird. They always seem to be looking to pose for a portrait.
Good work as usual.

The pure white bg sets off the textures and colours of the bird really well. :D
