I like how the dark colors of the deer really stand out from the BG and the few strands of grass in the FG.

Framing the image with a bit more room in front of the deer would have strengthened the it.

As Tim says, the dark shade of the deer stands out beautifully against that soft pastel BG. Great profile shot Dick. 8) :D
