My family is planning a trip to Puerto Rico during christmas/new years, so I would like to bring the photo gear..
Does anyone have some tips on where the best places to stay are and/or which guides to hire for photographing birds there?

Jon,

I am originally from PR and my family is still all there. I would be happy to provide some advice.

Do you already have plans for where your family will be staying? Are you going to decide where to stay based on photo opportunities?

Recommendations will need to be based on where on the island you will be staying. Although the island is not that big, it's a hassle to get from one end to the other.
