I want to get a new external hard drive for my new win 7 64 bit pc. I want a 4TB drive, but want to put it in a case with a fan. Ideally the case would be USB 3 ready or eSATA  for fast transmission. I have searched a few sites, but certain cases will not take a 4TB drive, do not have fans, are not USB 3. I know that when I get the 4TB drive I have to format it correctly to avoid it being partitioned. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Another vote for the Rosewill RX-358! I have two and they work fine.

Thanks for the responses. For your Roswell case, do you attach it with USB3 or eSata? Some of the reviews at Newegg, where I found it, indicated recognition problems with USB hookups.

Joe, mine is attached via USB 3 on Win7  64 pro & I've had no issues.
