For some unknown reason I am only getting the file size and date on my INFO button in iPhoto.  I need the shutter, aperture, and ISO too.  Some clients have the same program and the data is complete in a small white box.  I apparently did something accidentally to erase that box or?

Anybody know how to get the info without having to go into CS5?

Thanks in advance.

In my iMac I just Click-Right (Command/Click) on the photo (even/thumbnail) and there it is: "Show Photo Info".
Once info pop-up window is displayed just click on any photo and Complete EXIF changes automatically.

Hi,

Select any photo by clicking on it once, then select "Show Extended Photo Info" from the Photos menu,

Once the Extended Photo Info pop-up is on screen you can click on any other photo and it will change to display the relevant information for that photo.

Thanks for the info, guys. I am still getting only the date and file # using these methods. Something is amiss. I am considering updating to iPhoto 2011 as I currently have iPhoto 2009.

Hi Steve,

I'm using iPhoto '09

Does the Extended Photo Info window pop up when you follow my instructions above?

Does it consist of 5 sections with grey headings with arrows and titles?

>Image
>File
>Location
>Camera
>Exposure

If the section arrows are pointing to the right then that section is hidden, click on the arrow to expand and display that section - then arrow will be pointing down.

Here's some screen shots (may not be available in future):

and now with other sections expanded:

Hope this helps.

Before you upgrade, you might want to check out this forum thread about iPhoto 2011 in case it is relevant to you, seems there are some issues displaying gps co-ordinates in that version:

Thank again, guys. Yes, I finally figured it out with your help. iPhoto, to "Photos" top bar menu, to "Show Extended Photo Info." Bingo!

That said, I prefer to have the info displayed boldly without extra clicks. So, I went to the meat space Apple Store here and the guy demoed iPhoto '11, and it has just what I am looking for.

The glitch is upgrading can erase your entire photo collection. So, I am making darn sure I can use the Time Machine backup easily, as it looks as though that will be needed.
