The weather has been miserable for months in southern Ontario. Luckily, I collected a lot of data in the fall and stockpiled some objects to work on.
This object required around 33 hours of data using narrowband filters to capture the nebulosity and regular RGB filters for the stars to give them a more natural colour(stars removed from the narrowband image, then RGB stars added afterwards)
Telescope: Askar 107mm f7, Camera: ZWO ASI2600MM with ZWO filters. Narrowband exposures were 10 minutes each; the RGB frames were 15 seconds. Processed in Pixinsight and Capture one for final tweaks and output.

This is jaw dropping magnificent.

The amount of knowledge and work that goes into making a photograph like this is hard to fathom.

Thanks for sharing.

Just brilliant! Love the shapes and glowing colors. Awesome to see this and think about the vast universe..really unimaginable. But you bring it to life in a way most of us will never perceive.
