10D, 1-4IS @ 400mm, 1/400, f5.6, ISO 400, FF@-2/3, handheld

Before entering RMNP, we camped at Estes Park Campground - a so-so private (read: crowded) spot south of E.P. What makes this spot stand out, however, is the abundance of Broad Tailed Hummingbirds that frequent feeders there - literally dozens of them. And you can get very, very close to them without bothering 'em.

Here are two ladies sharing a little afternoon nectar margarita...

This makes me really look forward to the stop I'll be making in Merritt on my way to Vancouver soon! (Our friends there always have flocks of rufous HBs at their feeders.)
