I updated my blog with data from a recent trip to Botswana re: both the new 100-400 and the 7d mark II.
My conclusion is that both have found themselves into my kit.

Thanks for the write up. I just sold my 100-400 and am seriously considering the new one. If I like it well enough, I may even sell my 400 F5.6.
