Hi All,

Is it possible to save a jpeg image from another location onto a CF card and have that image be viewable on the LCD screen of a Canon 5D3 when that CF is in it?  If so, how?  I cannot seem to do it.

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong section.

On my camera, if I have renamed a file on the computer, the camera won't open it even if it was taken with that camera. I have to rename it. Mine in a Nikon D700. If I rename a file (folder)  "112ND700", it then recognizes it. The folder name is taken from a file from an image shot with that camera. I don't know if Canon works the same, but you might try it. You might have to assign a "DSC" file name to the individual image, as well.
