Redwoods - California
a7R5, 20mm, ISO 100, 50 frames, f/8
This is one of the more difficult shots I have taken and processed.  The final image consists of 50 images taken in one of the many Redwood groves in coastal California.  I took a focus stack of 10 images at 5 exposure levels.  Each stack was then rendered with Helicon Focus and then the resulting 5 images were processed in three different ways in Photomatix.  The three resulting images from that were then combined in Photoshop.  But that wasn't the hardest part of taking this - the hardest part was finding a hollowed out Redwood tree trunk that I could get my gear inside, compose and shoot the image having to work the camera controls upside down and backwards from underneath...

Quite unique! I've never seen anyone put this together as a complete focus and exposure blend.
Well done.
