The beautiful Vestrahorn from Stokksness on our Feb Workshop.  I had just 10 minutes as the landowner called the police on us for refusing to pay.  The police could not tell me if he had the legal right to charge entry.

My advice would be to know your rights before you pay, trouble is, nobody is able to tell me what our rights are.  The land is rented by the Governmnent, the road was built by the government, landowners have to allow access to the coast (in any case).

But, don't let this spoil your enjoyment of a beautiful area.

This is way cool. What awesome light. Bummer about the boneheaded land owner.

A really beautiful location. I like the red light on the distant mountain and how it contrasts with the black sand. I do wish you had shifted the composition to the left just a bit, as it feels a bit empty off to the right.

Thanks for your comments, interestingly Chris the composition was very careful, see how it sits with the Fibonacci Curve.

Personally I think the comp is brilliant and the moutnain in the top left is perfectly balanced by the wave-swept rocks in the lower right.
