At first glance these tufas appear as if ice bergs.  Mono Lake, CA. See it larger: Bergs of Mono

You were lucky to get such calm waters Very nice shot. For my taste it's a little too blue.

Great shot that almost makes me envious. I am desperately waiting for some good snow on Mono Lake to get some images like this one.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

That perfectly still water is mesmerizing. I love the idea and the scene presented, but I think that the composition feels a bit off to me. The negative space in the lower right and the mountain in the top left being so close to the edge of the frame doesn't sit right in my eyes. Perhaps a 4x5 crop taking off the right would work well. The dark hill in the middle would then be on the right side of the frame to balance the peak on the left and some of the negative space would be reduced.
