Hi everyone,
I made this image earlier this year while visiting Washington's Olympic National Park. This region's beautiful and rugged beaches have become some of my most favourite places to photograph. I was treated to this stunning display of light while waist deep just offshore from my backcountry campsite on a remote stretch of beach. Just half an hour before this photo was taken, a narrow strip of land connected the mainland to the massive sea stack where I spent the afternoon photographing Black Oystercatchers and Sea Otters. I'm so thankful this park was protected as it's truly a gem. Cant wait to return!
Best of luck,

Wonderful photo that captures the essence of this place beautifully! Great color and comp, really love the colorful streaks in the water. The Olympic coast is indeed a wonderful place to spend some time!
