I would lift the eye a bit or put a bit of catchlight. Actually it has one, just select the eye and curve it abit :wink:

It's a Cedar Waxwing, we have them in our area in the warmer weather. They pretty much look like this version.

I am loving this treatment of your bird images Mike! Its a wonderful medium for portraying them and would make a great collection. I agree the eye highlight could be tweaked a touch - although the dark band is perfect for the bandit mask! 8) :D

Mike,

A perfect subject for the rendering.The tonal ranges work nicely,maybe a bit more separation around the head but all in all a pleasing artistic image 8)
