First off, thanks for the image of the week. That was a nice surprise. This image comes from me trying to make my images seem painted. I finish off every print with a gel medium to try an fool the eye of the viewer a little I hope. This small an image doesnt really show the brush look I hope I have here. Anyway thanks for looking.

Great composition, that gap in the trees draws your eye right in. :D Can't see the brush effect very well as you say, but you can always post a little area at full rez too! BTW Craig, I tried that gel medium and the paper crinkled up  - what paper do you use?

PS Well done on IOW, justly deserved.

I would love to see a small section of 100% This is very pretty but as Clive said i can not see the brush strokes either. ( that the biggest problem with down sizing you loose some of the texture)
Thanks for Looking,

There is always something so peaceful and inspiring at the same time with images of forests. Just makes me want to take a walk right in. The glimpse of light through the trees is really inviting. 8) :D

Very peaceful feel to this forest, composition is excellent.

And yes, the brush work disappears when you reduce to the allowed size
They gave you a great idea with the small segment :D
