I like the in-camera abstract nature of this image. It's like a ghost owl. On one hand I feel like it needs more contrast, yet on the other hand the low contrast gives the image an ethereal quality. I think both ways can work well. And this image does work well IMO.

lovely mood to this. agree could be taken up a notch if flying into, but heck, that is such a tough ask... and the birds rarely oblige... beautiful

Connor it is so nice to see an artistic approach to bird photography. The opportunities to photograph snowy's are not plentiful, and you took a chance orchestrating this, and I appreciate it very much
