I'm currently in the middle of a month-long trip leading workshops in Peru. These guys are definitely one of my favourite birds and a highlight of any trip to the Amazon. Caught this moment right before this individual leapt to another nearby log.

Fantastic species and image Jess. Would be nice to have a little less of a flash look to it, but I can only image how difficult was to even capture this image. Wonderful!!!

Thanks, Tim! No flash used here - low angle evening light.
