Two-barred Crossbill (Loxia leucoptera)

Hello everyone!
This is another new version on an old favorite image from 2011. I had a wonderful morning together with these Crossbills. 4 Two-barred Crossbills and 15 Common Crossbills was feeding in a pine forest near my home. It had been raining alot the last couple of days and a big water puddle had formed on the ground. The Crossbills adapted quikly and came down regualry to drink from the puddle. What I did was just to lay down nearby and waited. All comments welcome, thanks in advance!

Thanks for the details on the shoot. Nice low angle and details. Being really picky....it would be better with a more pristine bird.

Great perspective, and looks like water gave you some fill for the exposure. Unique and really nice. (If it were mine, I would crop a bit of the foreground, but comp is admittedly subjective).
