Late afternoon during one of 25 consecutive days with this Loon and its mate. Still water in a tight cove, the eggs are covered by the mate. They let me in.

Great low angle and soft light and the loon definitely got his eye on you.

Cecil, a calm restful pose nicely captured, the bit of white feather swept up near the tail and the horizon line in the eye add further interest.

Hey Karl. I actually posted the wrong one. I like this one on a real narrow canvas but the other version has a forewater with more space.
