Nice flight shot of the Ross Goose.

You are pushing parameters doing flight shots at 1/500 sec. I have mentioned it before but I set my f stop at 8-9 for birds because of their 'depth'....especially in flight shots where the wings have a body in between.

Nice pose and background here but in my book this is a snow goose, not a Ross. The beak is longer, has a "grin" patch, has a noticeable curved border between beak and head and lacks the bluish nobby area at the base of the beak. I suppose it could be a hybrid but I think not. The two species do flock together frequently so can be confused. The head details are the main distinguishing features.
