Went to see this red-throated loon who had one thing in common with most birds. Cameraphobia.
It did come close at times but made sure all it did was look and then go back under and re-surface at an unpredictable spot but a predictably large distance away. This image is from one time where I got a bit of a sporting chance. After five different days at it... got a few more at the time and then back to the usual.
