Took this in the everglades on our last trip to Florida. Canon 1D  canon 300mm  2.8 f8 ISO 1600 2000

Yes it was cropped. though it looks nice as the full frame i cropped it because I liked more of a close up of the fish.

I never got to see if he managed to get it down,  i have lots of photos of him trying but he ended up behind reeds where i could  not see what was happening.  it was a huge fish ,  it fascinates me the size of fish some of these birds can manage to eat.
