Western Tanager

NSN Loons & More workshop, Kamloops BC

5D Mark III, 600, ISO 800, f6.3, 1/500, Audio

It always amazes me how much melody can come out of a bill that is barely open. From this past June.

The colors of the perch and BG complement the Tanager's plumage perfectly. Great details and beautiful specimen, too.

Very beautiful bird and perch! there are some cloning artifacts on the left like three inches below the bird's chest that are very obvious.

Great to see that the lichen on the perch matches the bird's color.
Great background, perch, pose and excellent composition.

Super nice.
You cannot save time, you can only spend it wisely, or perhaps, freeze a moment of it forever in a photograph
