Cute alert!
Taken yesterday in Florida at the Mute Swan nest we are fortunate enough to be able to follow.

Canon 1D Mark III
400 mm lens w/1.4x

Taken in extremely low early light.
I was having a problem with my flash so I had to jack up the ISO.

ISO 2000
1/400 f9

The little cygnets are so precious at this age! Just adorable.

Great shot and a beautiful bird - but this bird is a major problem for all the native birds especially water fowl that are already dealing with dwindling suitable habitat. So even though I really like the bird and the photograph - seeing all those little ones and having to deal with exotic evasive introduced species of plants and animals on various wildlife sanctuaries all the time it gives me great concern for our native species and viable ecosystems!!

Way too cute! Seems to have a color cast on the whites, probably a reflection from the nesting material.
