Taken with a Nikon D2X 500mm F/4D lens 1/125sec F/4 ISO 800
Bull trying to keep the girls happy. We were fortunate enough to see this guy in velvet twice. Now we saw him trying to keep the g irls in line.

The grass on his antlers is pretty cute! Elk can be difficult to frame when they mix in a herd of cows. The out of focus cow and the bottom right is a bit distracting in this case... this is a good attempt - keep working them! 8) 8)

Nice looking bull- even with his party hat on. :roll:

Looks like a tough place to shoot- but if you don't press the shutter, you'll never know what you missed. And sometimes you don't get what you'd hoped for.... :?

Pretty entertainning hat. Unfortunately the OOF cow and the awkward crop are quite a distraction. You might try a tighter crop around the head and rack to emphasize the camo grasses. I'll bet this was fun to watch.
