One from a few days ago in the Scottish Highlands. On the first day we couldn't get very high up the mountain because of the 60mph blizzard so had to turn back. The following day was very calm, though still a little cold, we managed to find a few to watch and photograph. We were completely unaware of this one next to us until he got up and proceeded to sprint off. I reacted immediate when he first emerged from his hideout (a shallow hollow in the snow) where he paused momentarily before taking off. So I was very close - this is almost full-frame.
Taken with a Nikon D750, the new 200-500mm at f5.6, 1/3200th sec., ISO1250. |
