Chobe River Sunset Swim

The elephants in the Chobe National Park in Botswana regularly swim to and fro across the Chobe river between Botswana and Namibia.

Usually they swim late afternoon, but this is an image of one doing the swim at sunset.

I loved watching them do this when they swam back and forth across the Zambezi river between Zambia and Zimbabwe!
They seem quite happy in the deep water. Nice 'up periscope' shot!
