While photographing waterfowl at Klamath last week I came across this entertaining little creature. She still has a few white hairs about her head from her winter coat. You will also notice if you look at her belly that she appears to be a nursing mother. She seemed to be very curious about me as I sat in the car taking her picture.

I so absolutely love these animals. Until I had Ferrets for pets recently I had no idea how personable and playful these guys are. No animal has made me laugh so hard as my ferrets. I'm sure these are the same as they are closely related. They are super curious animals. EVERYTHING must be investigated. Its a great fun image...wish the grass wasn't so OOF, maybe a crop down...but the expression on that little face is precious...Nice one Bob!

A lovely capture of this elusive and fast moving species Bob! She is definitely a nursing mother and what a great pose you've caught as she checks you out. Clicking on the image to bring in the darker surround really enhances the view!

Love the low angle. To achieve this with such a small, fast and elusive subject is quite a feat. Nice job, Bob.
