The Whitetail rut in MN is really beginning to get rolling. With the cool temps the bucks are really making the rounds looking for ladies and leaving their scent. With scent glands in the forehead and tear duct glands rubbing on trees or almost anything to leave his scent. Seeing trees marked up from the scent marking is common called "buck rubs" This is one of the top 3 ways that bucks leave their scent during the rut.
