Wupatki National Monument
This ruin, about 20 miles North of Flagstaff AZ, was the tallest, largest & most influential in the area. From about 800 to 1300 years ago it was home to 80 - 100 people. Several thousand more lived within a day's walk of this site. (This is just a small part of the ruins at the site.)
This was shot shortly after sunset in January of this year. I missed catching it with snow by a few days.

Canon EOS 10D, 24-85 @ 24, 13 sec. @ F18 ISO 100

Any comments & critique appreciated.
Thanks,

Nice image with good techs. A bit of barrel distortion is visible but I actually thinks it adds a bit of interest to the image.

I've only been to Wupatki once, but I'm really surprised more people don't take advantage of Sunset Crater and Wupatki - the area is gorgeous (and only an hour and change from the Canyon).

It's a little static and I'd love to see more of the dry bush on the lower left, but the light is gorgeous and I agree with Harvey that the distortion helps the image. A classic sky for a BG, and the building rising almost indistinguishably from the rocks is classic wupatki - nicely done.
