The current monitor my wife uses is going bad - flickers back and forth from calibrated (Xrite Color Munki) too bright un-calibrated.
So I'm looking for a new monitor in the mid-price range that will calibrate well.
I have a NEC SpectraView connected to my printer which we use for final print proofing, so I don't need another high quality monitor.

With my initial searching I've come up with this Dell:

I don't want to spend any more the $580 that the Dell will cost including taxes if any and shipping.

All suggestions gratefully appreciated.

Dick -
It looks like Dell has replaced the U2713HM with the newer U2715H. Here's a review link at TFT Central discussing the U2715H display and in comparison to the U2713HM. The price at Amazon is $596.

I don't know if you're familiar with TFT Central, you may also find some other displays reviewed at a similar price point for comparison. I don't have personal experience with either of those choices but am satisfied with my Dell full color gamut display that allows hardware level calibration as a less expensive option to the NEC's.
