Arash (Ari) Hazeghi, Ph.D. is an electron device scientist. He received his MS.c. degree and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering in 2006 and 2011, respectively from Stanford University, Stanford, California. His research at Stanford was focused on electron transport in mesoscopic and quantum-ballistic systems including carbon nanotubes (CNTs). During his career at Stanford Dr. Hazeghi was also interested in scaling trends and performance optimization of CMOS (APS) image sensors. In his free time, Ari enjoys photographing avian species in their natural habitat, a subject that has proven quite challenging. He has transformed his technical knowledge into field-craft and processing techniques which have proven successful for a number of years.
