For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by nature. At the age of 14 I picked up my dad's Canon AE-1 and since then I haven't been able to put a camera down. With a lens, camera, and a few rolls of film I had no idea what to do next. Thankfully I had my Dad's continued support and over the next few months and years I started to learn the basics. I took as many photo classes that I could take in High School and then continued into College. I upgraded and made the switch in 1997 to Nikon with the purchase of a Nikon F5 and an assortment of Nikon Lenses. After shooting film for years I finally made the switch to digital with the introduction of the Nikon D2H and have never looked back.
