a cute visitor this morning...The ermine and least weasel inhabit northern countries around the world. In North America, ermine range from the Canadian high arctic to south of the Great Lakes and into the mountainous western states. Ermine have black-tipped tails in both summer and winter, while least weasels have short, stubby tails without black tips.
