as the ice breaks up one must always be watching for possible Polar Bears coming ashore...mixed in with the white ice bergy bits a bear can sneak up on a photographer quickly. :)
the day after I posted this scene the following story apearedin Winnipeg Free Press a photographer out for a beach walk and meet up with a bear ...it can happen anywhere on the coast...
