This photo was taken at Manti-La Sal National Forest in Utah. I was snowshoeing on a forest road that had been closed for the winter due to snowfall, and came across this beautiful stand of Aspen situated directly in front of darker conifers. This composition was practically screaming at me when I first laid eyes upon the scene, so I obliged.
