Well, this is the last photo from my recent trip to Costa Rica.  Hope everyone enjoyed the wide variety of bird life that the country has to offer.  I'm off to Colombia next month and can't wait.

I certainly enjoyed your fine series on Costa Rica birds, Jake. From what I have seen from on-line photo web sites, Columbia looks amazing for birds, with even more species than C.R. ( I have a copy of " The Birds of Columbia", by R.Meyer de Schauensee, which is an older publication, but written by the authority on Columbia birds. Many fine colour illustrations, plus a very complete text. Probably newer guides since this one, but a very enjoyable book on this region. Should be some available on Amazon or ABE books, if interested). I'm sure you will have many fine images to share, here on Naturescapes. Have a safe trip.

Nice trip and nice finale! Like the lifted foot, walking along the log. A treat to see this pretty bird and all the others.
