R5II, RF600f4, 2x, 1/4000s, f/10, ISO 2000, manual

I've been trying for a while to find this species around here and finally got a chance to photograph one as they are completely out of range here. A lower angle was not in the cards because of heat distortion.

I can just feel it bobbing along in the wavy water that gives a sense of motion IMHO. Perhaps it is also the "wake" behind the duck. A beauty-so pleasing.

Great shot if this beautiful duck. I think the angle hear works perfectly fine because the blue water is a nice contrast to the bird

Great image of a rarity. I had a chance to photograph this Duck in Burlington two or three years ago.
