While photographing the kinglets, a winter flock of Bushtits invaded the setup. Nice to catch a male and female together on the same perch and both in focus. Please view full size.

Always special to capture a pair of any species, and a fine setting here, with the branch and berries, plus a nice neutral background, as well, Tim.

Very attractive perch for these two birds, Tim. Great composition, poses and clean background, too.

I love how they are situated on the branches with the bright berries for accent. Makes a great composition, and a lovely pair. Wondering if the eye color and subtle markings around the head are the only difference between male and female.
