A Golden-fronted Woodpecker photographed at the Laguna Seca Ranch in deep South Texas 24 October 2024. Nikon Z9, 600 pf, 1/1600 sec, f/6.3, iso 1600.

The clicked on view, for some reason, looks different than the thumbnail. Not sure why?

Wonderful image, Gene- excellent setting captured here.( The clicked on version is brighter than the thumbnail, and seems to show better, in my view.)

I like the big claws hanging on to the perch. I do agree on cloning out the flower upper right, it does pull the eye.

Axel, The photo that I posted from my computer looks exactly like the large view. The thumbnail sketch was much darker and without much color. Have never seen this before. Also, on the thumbnail photo, there's a slight green tint that is not on the large view?

Thumbnail and small version look greenish on my monitor and the large version looks correct. Could it be the color space? I guess you saved it as sRGB, which seems to work normally.

Axel, Yes, sRGB. My question is if the color is not correct, then why wouldn't it be incorrect on both the thumbnail sketch and the large version? Oh well....
