Bronzed Cowbird and Audubon's Oriole photographed at the Laguna Seca Ranch in deep South Texas.  Z9, 600 pf, 1/200 sec. f/6.3, iso 1600.  In the U.S., the Audubon's Oriole is only found in South Texas.  You can often hear them, but they are quite secretive and do not come to perches very often.  It's always a pleasure to get to photograph them.

Nicely done to not only get the Oriole and double whammy interacting Gene. Smashing!

That's a great combo (both have different colored heads than the body), and with a terrific perch. Nice!

The cowbird looks so fierce, trying to stare down the oriole. Looks like the oriole is not having it! Great interaction!

Looks like an interesting conversation, Gene, great interaction and an Oriole species I'd love to see sometime.

Great interaction image and nice that you had an opportunity to shoot a secretive bird.
