Another look at this Cedar Waxwing that was hopping about some lily pads looking for a meal. 

Nikon Z 9 & Z 800mm @ f/6.3, 1/3200, ISO 1250, handheld from the kayak.

I've not seen this waxwing behavior before- perhaps only possible to witness from a kayak! Love the wing positions-looks like a tightrope walker trying to balance. Terrific, unique shot.
