I didn't quite nail the focus on this image, but it was the most dramatic I managed to get yesterday. I ran through several different configuration experiments in Topaz (Gigapixel, DeNoise, & Sharpen) and this is the best result.  

Nikon Z 9 & Z 800mm @ f/6.3, 1/6400, ISO 1800, handheld from the kayak.

You did well to get all the details in this challenging setting. The action with a dragonfly is great. I'm always impressed with you hand-held work from a kayak, having done the same many years ago with mixed result. I'd be tempted to crop a bit of the background on the right side.

Pete, Great find with the dragonfly. I don't know, but I would think that BIF shots are more difficult from a kayak.

I never knew that they feed on insects as well. Great image.
