Beautiful image Pete. A lovely setting, which reminds me of a dear friend who had a fondness for Goldfinches.

Great setting and head-on look, Pete. It almost looks as if the Goldfinch has a raised crest.

A full size view really shows up the wonderful detail , with the goldfinch holding some thistle, and the eyes shining. I like the inclusion of the whole surrounds for context, and to illustrate the behavior. Charming shot!
